Yokohama type rubber fenders are used widely in ship-dock and ship-ship operations, so they can be installed both on the docks and ships for protection. Compared with normal pneumatic/inflatable rubber fender, Yokohama are produced with a steel bar or a chain inside the fender body for connection. Besides, Yokohama net type rubber fender designed with aircraft tires. Lastly, there are two self-bleeding safety valves on the two ends of the fender body. Yokohama type rubber fender can be divided into two type as following:
1.Net type
Net type Yokohama rubber fenders are covered with aircraft tires and chains or rubber rings and chains. By this design, the fender body can be protected better and achieve longer service life.
2.sling type
Sling type Yokohama rubber fenders are produced without any ti res,chains or rubber rings on the fender body, which used to avoid marking on the ship’s hull. Besides, they can save the space and more economic.
