Pneumatic rubber fender is the advanced anti-collision device for marine applications in the world. It uses compressed air as medium to absorb the impact energy when ship-to-ship contact (STS) and ship-to-berthing (STB), The Larger fender are commonly fitted with chain net for added protection. Sometimes the grey body is also required by our clients.
Types and Specifications:
The pneumatic have three types:
Net Type Fender

Ribbed type pneumatic fenders are well suitable for the ship-to-ship or ship-to-quay operation.
Applications:
Oil & Gas Transfer:
In the oil and gas industry, the transfer of energy needs to be carried out on a ship-to-ship basis. In the operation, the ship will turbulence with the ocean current, at this time, it is necessary to cushion the collision by using the pneumatic fender in order to avoid damage to the ship.
Wharf Protection
In addition to ship-to-ship applications, pneumatic fenders are often used for ship docking. In many ports, pneumatic fenders can also be seen, which can effectively cushion the impact and protect the dock infrastructure when large ships are docked.
