Work Profile: KM Dockland North infilling and KM Dockland South: 440m quay wall construction in tidal area. The eastern head of the Baakenhafens in the port of Hamburg is being re-designed in the course of the urban development of the eastern HafenCity. Here, the bank line is being re-designed to create areas for residential and office buildings, green areas, promenades and open spaces. The following essential works are the subject of this tender: Construction of an approx. 340m long anchored sheet pile wall (drilled piles)with reinforced concrete beams (10m); Construction of a 90m long anchored sheet pile wall (drilled piles) with reinforced concrete piles (slope of approx. 10m) as pre-ramp in front of a existing wall, including a wall hrough the wall; Demolition of existing quarries (reinforced concrete); Earthwork (filling of the new sheet piling, compaction and depth compaction).
