Work Profile:
Dredging in the mooring fairway and Västerås and Köping ports are planned for implementation in autumn 2019. The harbour basin at the oil jetty will need to be deepened and widened. Prior to the deepening, the dock (120m long) in the Oil Harbour along with unloading equipment is in need of rebuilding to extend its life span and adjust the quayside for future larger vessels.
The contract will mainly cover the following tasks:
– Piling works for the dolphin, and new support for pipe bridge;
– Sheet piling for reconstruction of the quay. Sheet piling consists of both drilled pile wall and conventional spontaneously;
– Concrete works for the casting of a new dolphin, between the support and top beam;
– Forging work to the new pipe supports and walkways between land and dolphins;
– Extraction of existing quay and product lines;
– Fill the water between new and existing sheet piling for the new
port plan;
– Manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of new injection pump
