Periodic inspection of cylindrical fender

After the fender is installed and the first three ships berth, the fender system should be inspected every time, and then regularly inspected each month. Our cylindrical fender is easy to be installed; it absorbs impact energy and has a small reaction force to the ship; it has good flexibility and will not deform under compression; it is economical and practical, and it is easy to be maintained.
Steps of cylindrical fender inspection
Firstly, check whether the bolts fixing the fender body are loose or not. If they are loose, they should be fixed by spot welding.
Secondly, check whether the chains are severely worn. If they are severely worn, they should be replaced in time.
Then, check whether there are cracks on the quay wall. Contact relevant departments in time for repair.
Finally check whether there are corrosion, rust, and tilt phenomenon, etc., and conduct anti-corrosion treatment once a year as much as possible.
Rubber fenders mainly use air as the medium and compress air to absorb impact energy, making the ship more flexible and buffering when docking to prevent damage to the hull and quay. Cylindrical fenders are included.
On the one hand, regular inspections of fenders can effectively prevent quay walls and hulls from being damaged, and on the other hand, check the fender system timely, find problems and solve them in time, which can extend the use of fenders.
