Maintenance dredging in Port of Beira, Mozambique is underway. The project is a regular maintenance dredging project, responsible for the construction of six areas of the Port of Beira, Mozambique. The Port of Beira is located at the mouth of the Pungue River, 20 km from the open sea. It has 11 berths stretching over a total length of 1,994m and is the second largest port in Mozambique.
After the dredging project is completed, It will greatly reduce the pressure on the navigable water depth limit of the Port of Beira and improve the navigation capacity of the port channel.
