Rod anchors are mostly used in the mooring positioning system of engineering ships, and can also be used as the first anchor. Rod claw anchors usually have a stabilizer rod, and the flukes are longer and larger than ordinary rodless anchors.
LWT Anchor
The LWT anchor is a high holding force anchor. There is a cross bar at the head of the anchor fluke. It is not only the rotation axis of the anchor, but also the anchor’s stabilizing bar, which can keep the anchor stable when turning and will not turn over.
Danforth Anchor
Danforth anchors are also high holding power anchors with a cross bar at the head of the fluke. There are two large triangular anchor chains attached to the crossbar, enabling the anchor chains to face the seabed at a 32 degree angle for maximum holding capacity on common bottoms such as hard sand.
Stato Anchorand Moorfast Anchor
Both are cast steel rod anchors with high holding power used in marine engineering vessels.
Steven Anchor
This type of anchor is used as an anchor for the mooring system of dredgers, crane ships, pipe-laying ships and other offshore engineering ships. Both are high holding power rod anchors.
