Work Profile:
Construction of a 210m quay wall on the northern side of the Albert II dock in Zeebrugge. The work includes mainly:
1. Carrying out a detailed study of the quay wall, delivering the implementation plans.
2. Construction of the quay wall: A. Attainment of a building site for the quay wall; b. installation of drainage devices; c. the construction of the quay wall; d. the supply and installation of fenders.
3. Soil Supplements.
4.Delivery of 3 copies of the as-built plans of all parts of the provisional acceptance.
5. The work includes: a. all necessary works,facilities,transportation and additional supplies for implementation and marketing of the works created as described in this special specification; b. all supplies and works needed for maintenance during the warranty period of 2 years. The attention of the tenderer is drawn to the work carried out within the protected port area in the immediate vicinity of a terminal in full operation. To gain access to the work, the contractor will have to comply with the requirements of the port authority and the terminal operator.
