How To Install Foam Fender?
The following steps are used for the assembly and installation of the foam fender system.
Step1:
Check the template with the fender bolt pattern, bracket, and other bolt parts. According to the design accurately positioned on the structure.
Step2:
Clean the socket and check all threads before providing the fender bracket. Install the bracket before installing the fender system.
Step3:
Prepare a large enough work area to handle and prepare the fender, away from any cutting, grinding, or shot peening.
Constant motion can cause vibration and shackle bolts, minute hands, or other parts to loosen or fail. By using suitable locking nuts, positioning welds, or threaded locking adhesives, these items should be prevented from loosening during installation.
Step5:
In order to loosen the support chain, the foam fender is provided to a higher berth than the final installation position to ensure relaxation of the main weight support chain.
Step6:
Attach the weight support chain to the support bracket and insert the separation pin into the yoke. Large chains are heavy and may require additional cranes to assist in the connection. When the fender is properly positioned, connect any other chain.
