30,000-ton channel dredging completed
Recently, the dredging of the 30,000-ton channel in Binzhou Port has been completed.
The total length of the channel is 17.5 kilometers, the effective navigation width is 130 meters, and the designed bottom elevation of the channel is -10.4 meters, which can meet the one-way navigation of a 30,000-ton general cargo ship by the tide. The soil of the channel is hard, and a single pipeline row distance can reach up to 22 kilometers. The excavation is difficult, and the conveying distance is long.
According to the characteristics of hard soil and long conveying distance of the project, The project adopts the new technology of “ultra-long-distance serial construction of large cutter suction ships”. That is to connect the dredgers in series. One of the dredgers is responsible for dredging the mud and the other dredger is a relay pump. Through serial pump construction and relay conveying and filling, It perfectly solves construction problems.
