Gulfport Expansion Project

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, has released the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Port of Gulfport Expansion Project (PGEP) for 30-day public and agency review.

The Final Environment Impact Satement announces the findings of the analysis of environmental effects of the expansion project.

The expansion project including filling of 196.5 acres of estuarine mud and sand bottom habitat for the expansion of port facilities, dredging of approximately 7.68 million cubic yards and Disposal of dredge sediments.
